This is my second year on the PTO as Co-President. My husband Fran and I have one son Lucas who will be going into third grade this year. I also work at Chestnutwold and am looking forward to another great school year!
Co- President - Suruchi Keenheel
This is my first year serving as Co-President of the PTO Executive Board. I have a rising second grader at Chestnutwold, as well as a four-year-old. I've spent my entire career in the field of education, as a special educator, assistant principal, and professional developer. I currently train/coach school and system leaders in educational equity and the science of reading. I look forward to learning from and contributing to the Chestnutwold community!
Vice President of In School Activities - Janet Peros
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve a second year as VP of In-School Activities at Chestnutwold. My daughter Vivienne is a 3rd grader at Chestnutwold and my son Sam (Chestnutwold class of 2022) is entering 7th grade at Haverford Middle School. We love Chestnutwold for the sense of community and the programs and activities that make our school engaging and fun. I am a senior research analyst at a large law firm in NYC and work remotely. I am excited about the great assemblies and other programs we will be able to have this year once again for everyone in our school community!
Vice President of After School Activities - Angela Herman
This is my first year serving on the PTO at Chestnutwold and I am thrilled to be a part of this school community. The level of parent engagement is truly extraordinary. I am the mother of a 2nd grader and have enjoyed being a homeroom helper, leading a run club and volunteering at events over the past year. While I work in Fashion, I am also a community ambassador for my company’s social commitment program and an education lead for an employee resource group that promotes diversity and inclusion. I look forward to serving as VP of After School Activities and supporting the wonderful clubs, events and activities that Chestnutwold offers to it’s students.
Co-Treasurer - Cathy Golightly
Hi! This is my first year on the PTO Board and I will be serving as Co-Treasurer. I have two kids at Chestnutwold - a 1st grader and a 5th grader. I currently serve as the coordinator for Art in the Classroom and have volunteered with Art Club, Lego Club and as a homeroom parent in the past. When I'm not volunteering, I work as a technology consultant for non-profits and love supporting community organizations. I am so grateful for the work the PTO does for our school community and am excited to join the board!
Co-Treasurer - Casey Sacchetti
This is my second year as the Co-Treasurer on the PTO executive board. I have 3 children - Kennedy is a rising third grader and twins, Cameron and Carter, are beginning kindergarten. I previously taught and was a reading specialist at the elementary level. I love being a part of the Chestnutwold community and am excited to continue to support our amazing school!
Secretary - Lisa Jennings
Hello, this is my first year serving as your Secretary on the PTO Executive Board. I am a stay at home parent of a third grade daughter, Sylvie, and a four year old son, Wesley. Our family has made this neighborhood our home for 13 years and I dearly love this community. My prior career was spent in fashion merchandising/buying until I made the decision to stay home with the littles. I look forward to learning from other parents and serving as a member of the Chestnutwold PTO.
