October 2026 PTO Meeting Minutes

• Welcome & PTO Highlight of the Month

  • PFD great success! 

    • Raised approx: 6700 in profit

    • Volunteers filled up and stepped up

  • Clubs kick-off

    • Week 1 of parent run

    • 115 kids signed up, almost all got a spot (some 1st/2nd full)

    • 100 in clubs, some multiple

• On-Going Raffle:

  • 1st: music teacher for the class w/ Ms. Esposto

  • Entry for volunteering, Homeroom Helper, attend PTO meeting
    

• Upcoming events- see calendar

  • Flyers on table

  • Spiritwear open until Oct 8th (new options!)

    • Will ship 3 weeks from tomorrow

  • Trunk or Treat- 10/24 sign up will come out soon

    • Candy to be collected in the main office

    • Prizes for cars

  • Phoenix Fam Fun Night 11/2

    • Teachers/Families/school families

    • Still in planning stage

    • Theme of Unplugging/Blackout: levels of building w/ different activities

      • Will work w/ PTO for family donations of snacks, materials,  etc.

  • Election Day Bake Sale & Clothing Drive 11/3

  • PTO Meeting 11/4

    • 1st grade team presenting

    • Potential Happy Hour to follow

  • Young Writer’s Day 11/13 
    

• Volunteer opportunities: 

  • Holiday Market committee We need chairs or a committee to run this event! 

    • No lead at this point

    • Vendors from community/families

    • PTO Fundraiser

    • Will have to cancel w/o volunteers

  • Pretzel sales

    • Hope to start in November, first full Friday of school each month

    • Pre-order

    • Volunteer to lead initiative or assist monthly with pretzel pick-up, distribution to classroom

  • Arts in the Classroom 

    • On-going volunteer opportunity

    • Opened to Music/Skill in general this year

    • Provides a project for the Art Show
