Welcome to Chestnutwold Elementary!

Everyone is a member, all are welcome, and membership is always FREE!

The Chestnutwold Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to enriching the school experience for our kids. We fund school clubs, support classroom projects, host awesome community events, and bridge communication between families, school administration, and the district.

    Adding Class Assignments: Once teacher assignments are released, search for your child in FreshSchools, click the pencil icon to edit, and add their teacher under "Classes".

    • Aug 26 (Wed) | 6:00–7:00 PM: Kindergarten & New Family Welcome (CW Main Playground) – Meet our Principal and enjoy popsicles!

    • Sep 03 (Thu) | 6:00–8:00 PM: Welcome Back Picnic (CW Fields) – Bring a picnic dinner/blanket; Owl's treat truck available for purchase.

    • Sep 16 (Wed) | 7:00 PM: Volunteer Fair & First PTO Meeting (Cafeteria) – Learn how to get involved!

    • Sep 25 (Fri) | 4:30–7:30 PM: Phoenix Fun Day (CW Fields) – Our biggest fundraiser with games, inflatables, crafts, pizza, and spirit wear.

    • Oct (TBD): Trunk or Treat (CW Parking Lot) – Costumes, decorated cars, and lots of candy!

    • Nov 03 (Tue): Election Day Clothing Drive & Bake Sale – Drop off gently used items in tied bags to raise funds.

    • Stay Tuned: Winter Holiday Market – Community shopping, treats, and seasonal fun.

  • All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend, share input, and vote on school initiatives. Meetings take place at 7:00 PM in the Cafeteria (typically lasting 30–60 minutes):

    • 2026 Meetings: Sep 16, Oct 7, Nov 4

    • 2027 Meetings: Jan 6, Feb 3, Mar 3, Apr 7, May 5

  • Our PTO runs entirely on parent support! Whether you want to help with homeroom parties, lead after-school clubs, or lend a hand at our in-school activities and events, there are plenty of ways to jump in.

    Special Event Chair Opportunities Recent survey results show high demand for an In-Person Talent Show and a Family Dance! We need event chairs to make these happen—reach out if you would like to help bring them to life!
